What is CTA certification?
The State implements a network access permit system for telecommunications terminal equipment, radio communication equipment, and telecommunications equipment involved in inter-network interchanges that are used to access public telecommunications networks. Telecommunications equipment must obtain a network access license; if it does not obtain a network access license, it must not be used in public telecommunications networks and sold in China.
Telecom equipment network access certificate
In the network access license, the state implements a network access permit system for telecommunications terminal equipment, radio communication equipment and telecommunications equipment involved in accessing the public telecommunication network. The telecommunications equipment that implements the network access license system must obtain the network access license issued by the Ministry of Information Industry; if it does not obtain the network access license, it shall not access the public telecommunications network and use it for domestic sales. The network access license certificate includes the certificate number, the application unit, the manufacturer, the device name, the device model, the place of origin, the remarks, the date of issue of the certificate, and the limited date of the certificate. Network access licenses are generally valid for 3 years.
CTA certification process
Provincial and municipal no-model approval application
Purpose: Provincial radio transmitter equipment type approval and approval.
Cycle: 15 days (the city has no committee for 3-5 days, the province has no committee for 7-10 days)
Project: Function (the machine provided is functional and the appearance is the same as that of the sample delivery machine)
Prototype: 1 (with battery)

No commission test
Testing organization: National Wireless Testing Center;
Test purpose: After the test of the radio test center is passed, obtain the type approval certificate of the radio launch equipment;
Detection period: 10 working days for testing and reporting, and 10 working days for approval, totaling 20 working days;
Test items: frequency band GSM900, DCS1800 RF performance, conducted spurious emissions, radiation spurs;
Detection basis: YD1214-2006, YD1215-2006, YD1032-2000;
Test content:
(1) RMS phase error; (2) frequency tolerance; (3) power control; (4) RF output modulation spectrum; (5) conducted spurious emissions; (6) peak phase error;
(7) Maximum average power; (8) Burst time power relationship; (9) RF output switching spectrum; (10) Static reference sensitivity. (11) Radiated spurious emission

Detection purpose: Test the compatibility and communication effect between the mobile phone and the base stations of various manufacturers.
Detection period: 15 working days

Test content:
(1) location update test; (2) telecommunication service test; (3) compatibility (switching) test with base stations of different manufacturers; (4) compatibility with different mobile communication operators; (5) communication effect test in urban, suburban, and outer suburbs; (6) Communication effect test without dual-frequency coverage area; (7) Communication effect test in fixed, low-speed mobile and high-speed mobile; (8) Communication effect test for long-time call on the move; (9) GPRS service test (MTNET).
Test sample: 2 parts (with battery and charger);
Prototype requirements: normal business and function, long-term communication effect is normal

Certification Center Approval
Testing organization: Ministry of Information Industry Telecommunications Equipment Certification Center (referred to as "certification center")
Purpose of the test: Randomly select a prototype for review, and after the network access conditions, issue a notification of the incoming inspection of the telecommunications equipment, and notify the inspection agency to go to the certification center to receive the sampling machine and the inspection notice.
Detection period: 2 days
Prototype requirements:
1 12 samples should meet the requirements of EMC Tell Labs;
2 There is a prototype with complete packaging: mobile phone, charger, battery, data cable, headset, manual, certificate, warranty card, after-sales service information, driver (if any).
3 Each prototype should have: charger, battery, certificate, IMEI sticker
Test items: prototype packaging, basic function test, photo sample retention, sample inspection acceptance.
Test sample: 12 mobile phones with battery and charger, and a prototype with complete packaging.
Test data: 1 telecom equipment network access application form 1; 2 mobile phone appearance characters and pattern description, including characters and patterns appearing when switching on and off 4 mobile phone color photo 1
Remarks: The 12 samples to be sampled should meet the EMC and Tell laboratory testing requirements.
Sample preparation
EMC Lab Test Project
Testing organization: Communication Measurement Center
Test purpose: to verify whether the electromagnetic compatibility of the sample meets national and industry standards, and issue a test report.
Detection period: 15 working days (7 working days for the modified machine).
Test items: EMC (harassment test, immunity test), SAR (SAR), safety performance test.
Testing basis: EMC: YD 1032-2000,
Safety performance: GB 4943-2001.
SAR: Electromagnetic radiation measurement method for wireless communication terminals.
Test content: (1) radiation stray harassment; (2) conducted continuous disturbance; (3) radiation disturbance immunity; (4) AC irradiance induced disturbance immunity; (5) surge (shock) immunity; (6) radiation continuous disturbance; (7) electrostatic discharge Immunity; (8) Electrical fast transient pulse group; (9) Conducted disturbance immunity of DC RF field induction; (10) Voltage sag and short-term interruption immunity; (11) Safety performance test. Tell Lab Test Project
Testing organization: China Tyre Lab
Purpose of the test: Verify that the radio frequency performance and audio performance of the sample are in compliance with national or industry standards and issue a test report.
Detection period: 15 working days (7 working days for the modified machine).
Test items: business and function, GSM radio frequency performance in GSM900/DCS1800 frequency band, audio test, environmental adaptability test, life test, battery performance, charger security, GPRS RF performance;
Test basis: business and function, environment, life, audio performance, RF performance: YD/T1215-2006; battery: GB/T18287-2000 charger: YD/T965-1998

Access to the network license
Agency: The Telecommunications Administration Center of the Ministry of Information Industry.
Processing period: 10 working days
Required information: 1. EMC test report; 2. no commission type approval certificate; 3. Tell laboratory test report; 4. current network (MTNET) test report; 5. GCF statement (FTA test report)
Modification machine access network considerations
1) The modification machine is not required to be tested by MTNET (current network);
2) The EMC test project of the modified machine and the test project of the Tell test are decided according to the modification, and the project to be tested is given in the general modification report;
3) The modification machine shall submit the “Telecom Terminal Equipment Remodeling Declaration Form” and the modification description (technical modification instructions);
4) Modified mobile phone Modified mobile phone identification notification processing
Agency: Telecommunications Equipment Certification Center;
Test prototype: 1 prototype, modified machine, with battery and charger;
Required information: 1. copy of the declaration form (with some changes to the comparison photos) 2. change 8 items description 1 copy of 3. prototype, modified machine technical manual (with color photos); 4. user manual 1 .
5) Modified mobile phone identification report processing:

Required accessories: 1 dummy battery and 1 RF test line;
Handling instructions: After the certification center passes the review of the modified mobile phone, it will issue a modified mobile phone identification notice to Tell Labs and EMC Test Lab. EMC and Tell Lab will carry out modification and testing on the modified mobile phone and issue a modified version. Identification report.
6) Modification and appraisal approval: After the EMC Tyre modification test is passed, the enterprise submits the modified mobile phone appraisal report issued by EMC and Tell Lab to the certification center. After approval, the mobile phone can be modified into the network (subsequent and prototype) Same machine)
7) No committee: 3 copies of technical manual prototype and modification machine, 3 copies of color photos, 1 copy of user manual; Tyre, EMC: 1 manual of technical manual, 1 copy of modified machine, 3 copies of color photo, One copy of each user manual. In addition to the above 7 points, other processing procedures are consistent with the prototype network access requirements.
CCC certification
Certification body: China compulsory certification English abbreviation "CCC".
Certification period: 5 working days
Required information: 1. mandatory product certification application 1; 2. safety component list 1; 3. charger CEMC certification; 4. technical manual 1 (with color photo).
Certification Description: 3C certification and network access license are independent of the two recognition processes. 3C certification is required to obtain the EMC inspection report and the charger CEMC certificate.
Precautions
If there are special characters or patterns in the appearance of the model and the screen of the switch, please confirm with the test and certification department in advance whether it is allowed to use;
After the sample has been sent, you need to change the appearance of the phone (including characters, graphics, buttons, etc.), you need to re-sample;
If you need to change the model of the device after the sample has been sent, you need to re-send the sample.
Non-mobile custom mobile phones, appearance silk screen and opening and closing interface are not allowed to appear "MO, CHIAN MOBILE" and other related words and LOGO.
To access the network with a mobile customized mobile phone, you must obtain a short-term agreement with China Mobile to apply.
Access to the network and related accessories must be prepared in advance.
The photo of the prototype should be absolutely clear, especially the pattern, the text, and the close-up photo should not be used clearly; the photo should be comprehensive: including the front and back sides, the two sides, the front and back of the push and pull, the front of the flip, the upper and lower ends of the text Also, after opening the back shell to remove the battery, take a photo; the ratio of the photo to the prototype is greater than 1:1.
The English description should be explained directly with the photo. That is to say, the photo is printed separately, and the meaning of the English and the pattern is directly marked on the photo (which can be black and white), and finally the non-other company logo is generally indicated.
